CSUCI creates an environment that leaves the participant with a wealth of real-world experience. My student teaching assignments provided me with valuable contacts and material to take with me into my first position. In addition to understanding teaching practices, I was more than ready to participate in faculty-based research in my first job after graduation, which has greatly influenced my work in the classroom.
