Missed the Fall 2025 application deadline?
You may still have a chance to join CSUCI through our late application process! The deadline to submit your late app request is Thursday, May 1, 2025 (for all non-impacted programs). To apply, you'll need to:
- Submit a late application petition
- Attach your transcripts from all colleges and universities you’ve attended
Please note: The late application process is competitive, and not all applicants will receive a late application code. Your eligibility will be reviewed based on your academic record, coursework, and other key factors.
You may be eligible for an application fee waiver?
When you apply for admission to the CSU through Cal State Apply you are automatically considered for an application fee waiver based on the information requested in the application. You must fully complete the application before the fee waiver eligibility is determined.
If you or your family have experienced a significant change in income, you may qualify for an application fee waiver appeal. Please complete the Application Fee Waiver Request Form and include the CSU Application Fee Waiver form located on the bottom of the webpage along with supporting documentation. Applicants will be notified of the decision regarding their fee waiver request via email they included in the fee waiver application form. If approved, the applicant will receive an application fee waiver code to use when submitting their application. If denied, the applicant will receive a denial notification. Please note: There is no appeal process for denied application fee waiver requests.
